Everyone can be a host. You need to define how many people you can host in your house.

How to manage my profile?

Today it is not possible to update your profile after the submission. We work day and night to improve the platform. Features of profile edition or notifications are being developed and will soon be on line. Thank you

In which language can we speak on the platform?

Our platform comes in 10 languages. Our support chat also. For exchanges between host and refugees, it will depend on languages spoken by each.

How can I upload photos?

When registering on the platform you are asked to upload up to 3 photos. You can select different formats and have a size limit.

Is it safe to receive a refugee at home?

By providing accommodation to a refugee, you are providing them the opportunity to find a safe place to rest and rebuild. They have been obliged to leave their country and are mainly in need of a refuge.This said, security is very important for us. Every profile created on the platform, host or refugee, goes through a moderation process. However we invite you to report any suspicious profile you may have identified.The process can take up to 24h. Certain updates of a profile will send it through the moderation again.

When receiving a refugee or a family, what do we need to provide them?

Your commitment is to provide them accommodation. They need to find a safe place to rest and rebuild. All your support is welcome. You can find different public assistance depending on your country, do not hesitate to contact them.

How long the refugee will stay in my home?

The duration of the hosting will depend on each situation faced by the refugee. This is a discussion to have directly with them when you are put in contact.

Who pays the expenses when I host someone?

Proposing to host a refugee is an engagement on providing them hosting and care.

What can I do if the refugee doesn’t speak my language?

In case you don’t find any common language, we suggest using google translate for written communication.

What happens if once the refugee is home we have issues?

We are providing a quick and safe way to connect refugees with host. Our platform does not take liability on what happens after the match.This said, we do everything so that the connection is done in the best conditions.

As a host, what type of insurance do I have going through the platform?

Can I get financial support from the state if I provide shelter for refugees?

All government assistance depends on the country you are in.

How do I hire a candidate?

EU4UA provides matching opportunities whereas application process takes place directly between your company and the candidate. When listing the vacancy you need to indicate the most preferrable way of application (either link to company website, email or telephone).

What arrangements do I need to make as employer?

Any preparations like providing housing or legal help to your future employees are completely up to you. But if you are ready to provide any help to your potential candidates please include them in the job description.

Do you charge any fees?

Our service is completely free therefore we don't charge neither employees nor candidates.

How many vacancies can I post?

You have unlimited slots for vacancies and we encourage you to post as many as you want (in case if you have 50+ vacancies - we can help you import them, just reach us out at info@eu4ua.org).

What happens next after I post a job opening?

All registered EU4UA website users will see your vacancy in Jobs section and will have the chance to apply.

Do I need to sponsor visa or work permit?

We do not have such a requirement.

Will candidates be registering on my website?

Indeed, application process takes place outside EU4UA, therefore you can choose the most suitable way of getting in touch with candidate (your website/email/telephone).

Can we integrate our ATS for import/export?

Yes, we will gladly assist you in finding a technical solution to import vacancies in bulk.

Once I arrive in a country what should I do?

EU4UA does not coordinate services and help in each country. Conditions may vary from one country to the other. You can rely on your host to help you find out. How can I find a job in the country that hosts me?

EU4UA does not coordinate services and help in each country. Conditions may vary from one country to the other. You can rely on your host to help you find out. How can I be sure of my safety?

We do manual check of each host, but you should always follow these safety tips: once you get connected, make a video call with hosts to make sure they are real people; inform your relatives about your hosts and their address; never give your passport to your hosts; report if you see any suspicious accounts. How long can I stay with the host family?

We only provide the connection. Once you are connected, the length of stay is one of the topics we suggest you discuss before arrival with the host.

I don’t speak any foreign language - can I apply?

Of course! But we strongly recommend that you indicate it in the description of your family and translate the text via Google Translate

Why can’t I send a message to a host?

Our platform will provide you match with hosts that answer your need. Once you have identified a host, you can request for contact. The host has to accept before you can be in contact with them.

What kind of documents/permits do I need to have in order to apply for a job?

Do you charge anything for career services?

Our services are free of charge, but some job agencies that list the vacancies on our platform can take a fee for the extra services they provide (translation, help with gathering documents, etc.). EU4UA doesn't get any comissions or money and is free for all parties.

Do I need to speak foreign language to apply for a job opening?

It depends on a vacancy. Most of jobs that are listed on our platform do not require foreign language proficiency, but you should always check it in the job description.

How and when I will be notified if I'm hired or rejected?

EU4UA provides matching opportunities whereas application process takes place directly between the candidate and employer (either via company website, email or telephone). Therefore you should discuss it with employer.

How many vacancies can I apply for?

We do not limit the number of applications.
